Haystack Unveils Their Latest Single and Music Video

Captured in action, video director Alex Lachan films Haystack’s live studio performance for their single “Doomsday Goes Away,” with Joona Hassinen at the helm of audio production.

Unique to this release, Haystack presents two versions of the single – the studio version, available on all major streaming platforms, delivers a gravel-polished, studio-crushing sound. In contrast, the music video, a live recording also done at Studio Underjord by Jonas Lundberg (drums), Patrik Thorngren (bass), and Happy-Birthday-Boy-Ulf Cederlund (vocals and guitar), on October 3, 2023, where Joona Hassinen again captures the band’s beautifully raw live essence. Eschewing the norms of lip-syncing, this live version showcases Haystack’s commitment to authenticity and spontaneity.
